LUMIÈRE Series · New for 2026
Fifteen luminaires, six series, one optical bench. Built in the third arrondissement since 1984 and specified by houses that keep fixtures for twenty years.
Product lines
Six series. Every fixture is built on the same optical bench and shares the same yoke, gel frame and accessory sizes — a house that owns one Fresnelle can hang any of them on the same bar.
Lumière
150 mm and 200 mm stepped lens, 15°–60° zoom by lamp carriage. The house workhorse.
Profile
Hard-edged, four-shutter, gobo slot at the gate. Fixed 26°/36°/50° or 15–30° zoom.
Cyc
Asymmetric reflector for even wash top to bottom. Single and four-cell versions.
Wash
RGBAL engine, 2700–6500 K plus saturates, flicker-free down to 0.1% for camera.
Engineering
The stepped lens is what makes a fresnel a fresnel: concentric rings that bend light like a much thicker plano-convex lens without the mass or the heat. Ours are pressed and polished on site, in a workshop of nine people, because the tolerance on the step angles is what separates a soft-edged beam from a blotchy one.
It would be cheaper to buy them in. We have costed it four times. Each time the sample lenses came back with visible ring artefacts at full flood, and each time we kept the workshop.
Who specifies us
We supply through distributors and directly to houses on framework contracts. Client names stay confidential unless they choose otherwise, but the sectors are no secret.
From the works

The 200 mm fresnel replaces the L-8 after eleven years. Same yoke, same accessories, new lamp carriage.

Every fixture shipped from 2016 onward now has a twenty-year parts guarantee, up from fifteen.
02 June 2026
Lens capacity up by roughly a third, which takes the standing lead time on 200 mm optics back under four weeks.

Tell us the room, the throw distance and what has to be lit. We would rather send you to a competitor's fixture than sell you the wrong one from our own catalogue.
