Last revised 6 March 2026. These apply to every order unless a framework agreement says otherwise.
Quotations are valid ninety days. Prices are ex-works Lyon unless stated. Framework prices are held for the framework term, which is the point of a framework.
Standard catalogue fixtures ship in six to eight weeks; OEM and custom optics run to the times on the trade page. Where we are going to be late we tell you as soon as we know, not in the week of the promised date.
Risk passes on collection or on delivery to the carrier you nominate. Inspect on arrival and note damage on the carrier's document — a damage claim raised a fortnight later against an unmarked delivery note cannot be pursued.
Three years on the complete fixture, five years on optics, from date of delivery. Covers manufacturing defect. Does not cover consumables, damage from dropping, water ingress in fixtures not rated for it, or a housing opened and modified by someone else.
Parts are available twenty years from the last production date of a model. Where a component becomes genuinely unobtainable — obsolete semiconductors, in practice — we offer a retrofit at cost rather than declaring the fixture beyond repair. This is a commitment we have honoured since 1984 and it is the single hardest promise we make.
Send fixtures carriage paid with a description of the fault. Assessment is free; we quote before work starts. Out-of-warranty repairs are charged at time and materials, and we will tell you plainly when a repair is not worth the cost against a replacement — including when that costs us the sale.
Where we manufacture under another party's name, we do not identify that party, exhibit those fixtures, or use them in our own material. This obligation survives the end of the relationship.
Optical designs, tooling and drawings remain ours, including where a customer has contributed to development costs, unless a signed agreement transfers them. Tooling paid for by a customer is held for that customer's exclusive use and is not used for other work.
Thirty days net for established accounts; proforma for first orders and for all OEM tooling. Late payment carries interest at the statutory rate plus the fixed recovery indemnity under French commercial law.
French law applies, with the Tribunal de Commerce de Lyon having jurisdiction.
